I called a friend just a little over half an hour ago. I felt lonely most of the day and talking to someone felt daunting. He picked up just a little after I overcame my anxiety. We haven't spoken for years but after less than 10 seconds I felt our ancient connection. We talked for about 30 minutes about where we currently are in life, just catching up.

It was nice. I should try that again.

Today I saw a couple, around 50 yrs old, in the supermarket. The guy was stacking cigarette packs at the register, just kept pressing the button. 16 packs of cigarettes. To pay, the woman took out her etui harbouring 12 cigarettes and a few houndred euros. They might sell the packs in France.

There aren't any otters where I live. I've never seen one. I don't neccessarily feel like I need to but what if I never will? Am I missing out?

I can't function in this heat.

When I wake up and my head hurts, I often don't know how to properly start the day.

I think this morning I will try and go for a run, but did I drink enough yet? Should I brush my teeth first? I could clean my appartement and do some laundry before. If I do my laundry first I can hang it after my run. What about having a little breakfast? Or coffee?
Can't decide.

I didn't buy protecting googles for the solar eclipse and also have never built a pinhole camera before. Probably it is time to try some new things. I'll make one! Venus is approaching, so it won't be for nothing.

The pinhole camera was a success! Sitting at the river a stranger approached me to share this moment. I did a lot of human things today. Eating the chips from the box I needed to build the camera feels like the right reward.
